Export (MX7 / M8 Elite)
- Insert a FAT32-formatted USB flash drive
- Navigate to Setup > Maintenance
- Select module(s) to export (select all, or specific categories)
- Click Export > select USB path > select PDP as file type > OK
Import (MX7 / M8 Elite)
- Insert the USB drive containing the .pdp file
- Navigate to Setup > Maintenance > Import
- Select the .pdp file > OK
- System restarts and applies the imported settings
Warning: Import overwrites current settings. Export your current presets first as backup.
What Transfers and What Does Not
- Transfers: Exam mode presets, measurement presets, comment presets, iWorks protocols, image settings, Doppler settings.
- May not transfer: DICOM configuration (machine-specific), user accounts, network settings.
- Probe-specific settings: Only transfer for probes available on both source and target machines.
Factory Reset
Setup > Maintenance > Load Factory. Restores all settings to original factory configuration.
USB Format Requirements
- Use FAT32 format. Most USB drives are FAT32 by default.
- Windows: Disk Management > right-click drive > Format > FAT32. For drives larger than 32GB, use Rufus (rufus.ie).
- Mac: Disk Utility > select drive > Erase > MS-DOS (FAT) > Erase.
