Frequently Asked Questions
Is ZST+ significantly better than Zone Sonography for vein imaging?
ZST+ delivers measurably better resolution and tissue uniformity, especially in challenging patients. For straightforward vein mapping and reflux in average-BMI patients, Zone Sonography provides excellent results. ZST+ shows its biggest advantage in complex or larger patients.
Does every Mindray system have Smart Track?
Smart Track is available on the MX7 and M8 Elite for vascular exam modes. Contact Capital Health Solutions for current availability on the Resona i9T and Consona N9.
What is the difference between V Flow and color Doppler?
Conventional color Doppler shows only the velocity component along the ultrasound beam axis and is angle-dependent. V Flow computes the true velocity vector — direction and magnitude — independent of the probe angle. This matters most at the SFJ and SPJ where the beam-to-vessel angle is often suboptimal.
